For 25 years, ministry has been woven into the fabric of our lives— through the highs, the hard seasons, and everything in between. And as we looked back on all the seeds God has let us gather along the way through youth ministry, church planting, mission trips, years of saying yes, we knew there was no better way to mark this milestone than to plant them into something legacy lasting: a WHOLE missions ministry!
Ignite Global Missions is the fruit of that!
What started as seasonal missions trips has grown into something we can now put a name to: Ignite Global Missions (IGM), a nonprofit born out of the same heart I have for the community of Redefining Tables.
So what is IGM, exactly?
IGM is a nonprofit devoted to discipling and mobilizing students, student leaders, and families toward servant leadership and missional living. Our emphasis on discipleship and short-term missions exists to activate something bigger: a life lived missionally, right where you are wherever you are.
Currently, we partner closely with Filter of Hope which serves as the vehicle, where I (Mónica) serve as a Missions Specialist. Filter of Hope provides clean water filters to communities in need, creating natural, relationship-driven opportunities to share the Gospel.
What we actually do
IGM's work happens through three ministry arms:
GROW — Discipleship and training before, during, and after a missions trip. Going isn't just about the week or so on the ground, it's about who our team members become because of it.
GO — Mobilizing short-term mission teams to the field. Right now, that means plans toward a possible Mother/Daughter trip to Costa Rica and a Parent/Teen trip to Colombia in 2027.
GIVE — Fueling it all. Every mission trip, every discipleship resource, every relationship built on the field runs on the generosity of people like you and the legacies we’re equipping. What our teams experience is the drive behind living missionally everywhere they go.
